These Terms govern your use of Stock Resonance (the "App"), a web app and installable PWA at stockresonance.com. By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What Stock Resonance is

Stock Resonance plays synthesized binaural tones and ambient sound layered with a session timer, positioned as a focus/productivity aid.It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. Research on binaural-beat entrainment is mixed; we make no guarantee that any preset will produce a specific mental or physiological effect. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or any condition affected by audio stimulation, check with a doctor before extended use, and stop if you notice any adverse reaction.

2. No accounts

The App does not require you to create an account or log in. Session preferences (preset, duration, volumes) are stored only in your browser's local storage and never leave your device. Paid access, if you purchase it, is tied to the email address you use at checkout and restored by re-entering that email in the App — see ourPrivacy Policy for details.

3. Free and paid features

The free tier includes all presets, unlimited session length, background/screen-off playback, and synthesized ambient sounds. The paid tier ("Pro") additionally includes:[real recorded nature sounds / voice reminders / custom presets — update this list if it changes]. We may change which features are free vs. paid in future releases, with reasonable notice for material reductions to what current paying customers already have.

4. Pricing and billing

Current pricing: a one-time lifetime purchase of $19.99(see the app for current prices — this page is not the source of truth for pricing). Payments are processed byPolar.sh, acting as merchant of record; your payment details are handled by them, not stored by us.

5. Refunds

We offer a full refund within 14 days of any purchase, no questions asked. Contact info@stockresonance.com or use polar.sh invoice to request one.Refunds are issued through our payment processor and may take several business days to appear.

6. "Lifetime" access — what that means

"Lifetime" means for as long as Stock Resonance operates as a product, not the lifetime of you or of our company. If we ever discontinue the App, we will give at least[90 days'] notice and (a) provide an export of your saved presets/settings, or (b) grandfather lifetime holders into a successor product — whichever we determine is most practical at the time.

7. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to circumvent paid-feature restrictions, reverse-engineer the license/entitlement system to redistribute access, or use the App in a way that disrupts it for other users.

8. Intellectual property

The App's design, code, generated audio, and Journal content belong tostockresonance.com unless otherwise noted. Any real audio recordings used under a royalty-free license remain the property of their original creators under their respective licenses.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law,stockresonance.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence or for death or personal injury, where such limitation is not permitted).

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Germany.
